Where do I pick the equipment up from?
All Dry Hired equipment is picked up from Rouse (Hill Hills Districit). Or we can deliver and pickup. Can I operate the machines
myself?
Yes, definitely (EXCEPT the Nostalgia Popcorn Cart/Machine). All the machines
are easy to operate. On pickup of
the equipment, a training session
and training sheet for further
reference is given to the hirer.
If I operate the equipment
myself, can I keep the machine
overnight?
Yes. All day rates also include
1 nights hire.
Can I hire an operator with
the machine?
Yes. Hire an experienced Yummie
Tummies staff member, sit
back and enjoy your event.
Is ICE supplied for the
Sno Cone Machine?
No ice supplied.
How much machine ice will
I need?
On average, a 5kg bag of solid
ice (we do not recommend hollow
ice) will make approximately
20 - 25 serves.
What do I get with the hire
of the Fairy Floss Machine?
Sticks and Coloured/Flavoured
Sugar.
What do I get with the hire
of the Sno Cone Machine?
Straws, Cones and Flavouring.
What do I get with the hire
of the Popcorn Warmer Machine?
20g Serving bags and pre-popped
popcorn.
What do I get with the hire
of the Nostalgia Cart Machine?
The machine, an operator and
some pre-popped popcorn. Plus, fresh popcorn is made (popped)
on site.
Do I need to supply anything
with the hire of the equipment?
With the Fairy Floss and Nostalgia
Cart machines, NO. With the Sno
Cone and Popcorn Warmer machines,
YES. You will need a table (eg.
trestle table) for the equipment
to sit on.
What colours does the sugar
come in for the Fairy Floss?
You get the choice of one colour. Either, traditional Pink, Blue, Green, Mauve or Yellow. Theme your next event or function.
What is a Popcorn Warmer
Machine?
It's a machine which warms pre-popped
popcorn. This means no hot messy
oils to worry about. Popcorn
comes in a 2kg bag, which is
simply poured into the machine,
heated and served. Its as simply
as that!
Does the equipment operate
on a standard 10amp power point?
Yes. A 20 metre extension lead is supplied with each machine. So just plug the machine into the lead, then straight into
a power point. Please, no power
boards.
Can a generator run the machines?
Yes. A minimum of a 5.5 Kva
generator is required for each
of the Fairy Floss and Sno Cone
Machines. Therefore if you hired
both machines you would need
a minimum of a 10Kva generator.
The Popcorn Warmer Machines,
just need a standard generator
to operate.
NOTE: If hiring more then 1 machine, call us first to discuss generator requirements and solutions.
Is a bond required if I pickup
and operate the equipment myself?
Yes. A $200 CASH bond is required
per machine. This is to ensure
no equipment is lost and
the machine is returned clean.
